MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This senior running back
is a pre-season high school football U.S. Army All-American, and has put up
big numbers and many school records for the Bombers. He ran for 1,450 yards
(18 TDs) last year while catching 11 passes and notching 251 yards on kickoff
returns. His sophomore year, Darius ran for 1,633 yards (26 TDs) while helping
lead the Bombers to an undefeated 15-0 record, the Ohio state championship (he
was named MVP of the Ohio state tournament) and a #6 ranking in the nation by
USA Today. Last season, Darius led the Bombers to the GCL South title and was
named GCL and Southwest Ohio district Offensive Player of the Year as well as
1st team all-city, 1st team all-Southwest Ohio district and 1st team
all-state. Active in community service, Darius� favorite athlete is Barry
Sanders, favorite entertainer is Michael Jackson and most-like-to-meet is
Beyonce. He has not yet selected a college.
