MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This talented
senior is an all-star performer in 2 sports � baseball and basketball.
A left-handed pitcher and outfielder, Jim was named as this year's
NKY Div. II Player of the Year. In his first 7 games this year,
he went 6-1 with a 1.17 ERA and 68 Ks. As a junior he was 7-2 with
a 2.26 ERA, striking out 58 batters in 50 innings. He also hit
.326 and was named 1st team all-conference and all-region for the
2nd time. In basketball, a 4-year starter at guard, team captain
Jim also earned 1st team all-conference and all-region honors in
this sport. Big games included 27 points vs. Scott County and 26
vs. Conner and Lloyd. A good student very active in community service,
Jim will follow in his dad's (Pat) footsteps by playing baseball
at Northern Kentucky University. His favorite athlete and most-like-to-meet
is Michael Jordan, and his favorite entertainer is Owen Wilson.
