MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: A 3-sport
star, Shannon, in basketball was named NKY Div. II Player of the
Year and Kentucky 9th Region Player of the Year. She had big games
vs. Villa Madonna (26 points), Highlands (23) and St. Henry (23
points-10 rebounds) for the NKAC Div. II champs. A career 1,000-point
scorer, Shannon was MVP of the 9th Region All "A" tournament
and named to the all-tournament team of the state All "A" Classic.
Shannon will play basketball next season at Ball State University.
Shannon also played 3 years of soccer and was honorable mention
all-state as a junior. In volleyball this season, Shannon helped
lead the 'Breds to the district and regional championships, and
was named to the regional and district all-tournament teams. An
honor roll student active in community service, her favorite athlete
is Candace Parker, favorite entertainer is Rascal Flatts and most-like-to-meet
are Joe Don Rooney and Matthew McConaughey.
