MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This senior
guard has been a Simon Kenton floor leader since his freshman year.
He was averaging 17 points a game this season before breaking a
bone in his foot, but he's now back on the floor for the Pioneers.
Big games this year included games against St. Henry (27 points),
Conner (26), Dixie Heights (23) and Campbell County (19). Michael
has scored more than 1,000 points in his solid prep career. As
a junior for the Pioneers (32nd district champs, 8th region runners-up)
he averaged 17 points-5 assists a game and 4.3 steals (leading
Northern Kentucky). He was named as a Northern Kentucky all-star
as both a sophomore and junior. In addition, last year he was named
1st team all-Northern Kentucky and 1st team all-region. Michael
plays for the Kentucky Shining Stars during the summer. His favorite
athlete and most-like-to-meet is Xavier U. guard Johnny Wolf. He
has not yet selected a college.
