MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
A 5-time swimming All-American, Amanda won the Div. II Ohio state championship
in the 500 freestyle last
year in a school record 4:50.95. She was also state runner-up in the 200
freestyle (1:51.2, a school
record). Amanda also won an Ohio state championship her sophomore year as part
of the 200 freestyle relay
team. She holds the district records in both the 200 and 500 freestyle events,
and holds 3 school records.
Amanda was named 1st team all-Ohio and 3 times has been 1st team all-city. She
has been a nominee for
the Wendy's Heisman award and the local Women's Sports Association Sportswoman
of the Year award. A great
student, Amanda is a member of National Honor Society and is a 2-time academic
All-American. She is very
active in community service and swims for the Mason Mantarays club team. Her
favorite entertainer is
Dane Cook, favorite athlete is Natalie Coughlin and most-like-to-meet is Andre
Agassi. She will swim
next year at Indiana U.
