MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This senior
3rd baseman-pitcher overcame adversity to put together a great
junior baseball season last year. Prior to the baseball season,
in football he rushed for over 1,000 yards (averaging over 6 yards
per carry) and 20 TDs before breaking his leg during the Tigers' state
playoff run. Nevertheless, during baseball he hit .524 (49 RBIs)
and led NKY with 13 home runs. He was named to the district and
regional all-tournament teams, was named 1st team all-Northern
Kentucky and was named to the Kentucky State Junior All-Star Team.
As a pitcher, he went 6-2 with an 0.98 ERA. Chris also played 3
years of basketball for Beechwood. During the summer he plays baseball
for the Kentucky Colonels, and plans to play at the collegiate
level, but has not yet committed to a college. His favorite entertainer
is Tom Cruise, his favorite athlete is Tony Gwynn, and his most-like-to-meet
is Tiger Woods.
