MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This senior team captain
was rated by USA Today
as one of the Top 25 players in the nation, and was one of only 36 girls in
the U.S. to be invited last summer to play in the USA Basketball Youth
Development Festival at the U.S. Olympic Center in Colorado Springs. Myia
helped lead the Warriors to an undefeated 14-0 conference record this season
and a 2nd straight FAVC-Buckeye championship. Big games included
scoring 23 vs. Anderson, 21 (12 rebounds) vs. Roger Bacon and 20 vs.
Loveland. Twice she has been named 1st team all-FAVC. Myia also ran track
and played volleyball in her prep career. Active in the Girl Scouts, Myia
plays clarinet in the marching and concert bands. She will play basketball
next season at Rutgers U. Her favorite entertainer is Ginuwine, her favorite
athlete is Tamika Catchings and her most-like-to-meet is Michael Jordan.
