MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This senior,
a 4-year starter at shooting guard for the Thunderhawks, is the
school's all-time leading scorer and has been named a Nike All-American
and McDonalds All-American nominee. As a junior, James averaged
20 points-5 assists a game, leading the league in scoring for the
2nd straight year. He has started strong this season, too, scoring
30 vs. Roger Bacon and 25 vs. Princeton. Three times he has been
named 1st team all-conference and last year was GMC Player of the
Year. He has been named 1st team all-city twice and last season
was 2nd team all-state. Last June, James was invited to attend
the prestigious NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp at Virginia
Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. He will play next season
at the University of Miami (FL). His favorite entertainer is Usher;
his favorite athlete is Michael Jordan and his most-like-to-meet
is Kobe Bryant.
