MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: A mainstay
at middle blocker for the Rockets since her freshman year, Katey
is one of the top Div. II players in Cincinnati in kill efficiency
and blocks. Wearing jersey #14, Katey has been named 1st team all-conference
and all-city in Div. II twice and 2nd team all-Ohio once. Entering
her senior season, she was named as one of the Top 100 recruits
in the nation. Katey helped the rockets to a 21-5 record last season
and she was also a member of Cincinnati Team Z that during the
summer finished 3rd in the nation. A good student, Katey is a member
of National Honor Society, and is active in community service.
Her favorite entertainer is Larry the Cable Guy and her favorite
athletes are Tom Brady and the Bengals' Chad Johnson. Katey will
play volleyball on scholarship next year at the University of Cincinnati.
