MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This senior
running back for the #1 Bombers in the season opener scored the
lone TD in the big 7-0 win vs. defending Ohio state champion Colerain.
Last year, Chris paced the team to a 10-0 regular season record,
leading the conference in rushing with 1,187 yards, including 11
TDs running and another 3 TDs receiving. Big games included running
for 202 yards (1 TD) in 21-0 win vs. Columbus St. Francis De Sales
and running for 205 yards (2 TDs) plus catching a TD pass in a
win over Moeller. He also ran for 2 TDs -- including the game-winner
-- in the 33-30 double OT win vs. Elder (Elder's first loss at
The Pit in 4 years), and he scored 4 TDs (3 rushing, 1 receiving)
in the 47-10 win over Westerville North. For his efforts, Chris
was named 1st team all-city and Southwest Ohio, and special mention
all-Ohio. Chris also runs track for the Bombers and was named honorable
mention all-city in the 800 relay.
