MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Captain of
three different sports teams, named 1st team all-state four times,
this senior runner last year won the Kenton County cross country
championships while setting a course record 18:53 (breaking her
own record) and the Kentucky Coaches Association Meet of Champions
in Lexington; she helped the Eagles to a state class AAA 3rd place
finish, taking 6th at state. Kortni was named NKAC Div. I cross
country runner of the year, 1st team all-state and 1st team all-Northern
Kentucky. She also plays soccer during the cross country season
and made the all-district team. In track, last year she won the
Kentucky state championship in the 1,600 and 3,200 runs, and was
named the state's Junior Class Female Track Athlete of the Year
and Northern Kentucky's Female Track Athlete of the Year. A national
honor society student, she is active in community service and was
named Student of the Year in both French and English.
