A three-year varsity starter on Kings' offensive line, Matt Sichterman

Cincinnati-area and has committed to play collegiately at the
University of Nebraska. He has helped Kings to a 7-2 record so far
this season, 5-1 in the league.
Last season as a junior, Matt helped the Knights to a 9-1 over all
record (6-1 in the conference) and an ECC co-championship.
He had 80 total knockdowns last season and earned numerous honors,
including being named 1st team all-ECC, 1st team all-city Div. II
(Enquirer) and 2nd team all-SWO District.
Matt also played basketball for the Knights, averaging 9 points-4
rebounds a game for the ECC champs and was named 1st team
all-conference.
Matt is a Sichterman triplet, with brother Dan being an all-league
defensive end and sister Megan being an all-league swimmer for the
Knights. The family's athletic roots run deep. Father Mark played
center on the Drake University football team while mother Judy was a
swimmer at Clemson.
A great student active in community service, Matt's favorite athlete
is LeBron James.
COACH'S QUOTE – "Matt is a very unique and special
student-athlete. He has the physical frame, on the field instincts,
and athletic ability of a BCS caliber player. And he has the academic
tools to be a Merit Scholar."
