                                                  Halfway through this prep football season, Sycamore senior running
                                                  back Ra'Von Bonner is once again leading the tough GMC in rushing. In
                                                  his first six games, he recorded 870 rushing yards, scoring 16
                                                  touchdowns.
                                                  
  
                                                  Ra'Von also led the GMC in rushing last season as a junior, rambling
                                                  for a league-leading 1,429 yards while scoring 27 rushing TDs. He also
                                                  had 20 receptions for 267 yards and a touchdown.
                                                  
  
                                                  One of his monster games this season was in a win vs. Hamilton when he
                                                  rushed for 288 yards, scoring five touchdowns. He holds the school
                                                  record for TDs in a game when, last season, he scored eight TDs (7
                                                  rushing, 1 receiving) in a game vs. Oak Hills.
                                                  
  
                                                  Ra'Von his junior year earned 1st team all GMC honors for the second
                                                  time
                                                  and was 1st team all-city and 2nd team all SWO District. He also runs
                                                  track for the Aves
                                                  and will play football collegiately at the University of Illinois.
                                                  
  
                                                  His favorite athlete and most-like-to-meet is Ray Lewis, favorite
                                                  entertainer is Kevin Hart, favorite book is Unbroken, and favorite
