A senior catcher/3rd baseman and one of the best softball players in
the state, Notre Dame Academy senior Kennedy Baugh is a 7-year starter
for the Pandas, the 2016 District champions.
She is coming off a junior year when she batted a single-season
school-record .548 with 46 hits, 31 RBI and 34 runs scored. Her .994
fielding percentage is also a school record.
Kennedy was the Enquirer's 2016 NKY Co-Player of the Year, NKY Div. I
Player of the Year (Coaches), 9th Region Player of the Year, named to
the District 35 all-tournament team and was named to the East-West
Junior All-Star game, taking home the all-star MVP Award. She also was
a finalist for the Cincinnati.com GCSA Softball Player of the Year
award.
In basketball, she was a 3-year varsity starter and this past season
averaged 6.6 points and 3.7 rebounds per game and was named to the
All-District team.
Also an Academic All-State student all 4 years of high school, Kennedy
is
active in community service and will play softball collegiately at
Trine University.
