One of Cincinnati's top swimmers, Kings' senior Megan Sichterman is a
swimming All-American and the 2017 Ohio state champion in the 50
freestyle, finishing as Ohio state runner-up in the 100 butterfly. She
also won the 2015 Ohio state championship in the 100 butterfly.
At the 2017 ECC Championships, she helped Kings win the league title,
swimming on two record-setting relay teams and winning two individual
events, the 200-yard IM and 100 freestyle, both in record times. In
doing so she earned her third consecutive ECC Girls’ Swimmer of the
Year honors.
Megan as also this year's district champion in the 50 freestyle
(22.95) and 100 butterfly (53.74). Her junior year, Megan earned
numerous honors, including being named 1st team all-conference and 1st
team all-state for the second time. She holds numerous school,
conference and district swimming records.
Megan was National Champion in two events (100 butterfly and 50
butterfly) at the 2016 YMCA Long Course National Championship in
Indianapolis.
Megan is a Sichterman triplet, with brothers Matt and Dan, also
LaRosa’s all-stars, earning Div. I football scholarships. She is an
academic All-American who is active in community service.
Megan will swim collegiately at the University of Tennessee.
