A five-year varsity starter in basketball, Beechwood senior Ally
Johnson has scored 2,000+ points in her great varsity career. She is
having another great season this year with many double-digit games,
including scoring 34 points vs. Dayton, 29 points vs. Harrison County
and 27 points vs. Lloyd.
The all-star point guard surpassed 1,000 career points' plateau her
sophomore year, and entering this season, she already had scored 1,643
career points, including 251 three-pointers.
Her junior year, Ally averaged 18.1 points per game and earned
numerous honors, including being named 1st team all-9th Region, named
to the all-tournament team of the Regional All "A" Classic and the
District championships and was 1st team all-NKY (Enquirer). She has
been named by Northern Kentucky Basketball Coaches as a Div. II
all-star four times. This season, she was recently named to the all-
tournament team of the 9th Region All "A" Classic.
Ally will play collegiately at Bucknell University. She is also a
cross country all-star who twice was named to the all-state team. And,
she is a stellar academic student who is active in community service.
