A four-year varsity starter for the defending CHL co-champs, senior
Lonnie Grayson has 1,000+ points scored in his great varsity career.
He has started strong this season for the undefeated Cowboys with
double-digit scoring games vs. Taylor (21 points), Hughes (14) and
Indian Hill (12).
Last season, Lonnie averaged a league-leading 19 points per game plus
had 5.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists and a league-leading 3.1 steals for the
18-5 Cowboys.
He had numerous big scoring games last season, too, including vs.
Madeira (30 points), Taylor (28), Indian Hill (28) and Mariemont (27).
Lonnie has won numerous honors, including twice being named CHL Player
of the Year and 1st team all-city in Div. II. Additionally last
season, he was 1st team SWO District in Div. II and honorable mention
all-Ohio Div. II.

Coach Tim Edmonds. "He has seen tremendous success as a basketball
player, but also excels as a student and person."
Active in community service, Lonnie has committed to the U.S. Military
Academy at West Point.
His favorite athlete is Damian Lillard, favorite entertainer is Will
Smith, favorite book is The Great Gatsby, favorite movie is I am
Legend and most-like-to-meet is Jay-Z.
