One of the area's elite pro-style QBs and team captain, Wyoming senior
Andrew Marty fought back from a junior year season-ending injury to
lead the Cowboys this year to an undefeated 10-0 regular season record
and the CHL league title.
During the regular season, Andrew led the CHL in passing yards (2,487)
and passing TDs (34) plus had 7 TDs rushing. His 6 TD passes vs. Deer
Park tied a school record for TD passes in a game. Andrew continued
his QB mastery in the first round of the Div.IV regional playoffs last
Friday night. In a 59-0 win vs. Chillicothe Unioto, Andrew passed for
254 yards and five touchdowns to keep the Cowboys undefeated season
rolling at 11-0.
Andrew also plays baseball for the Cowboys and last season on the
mound he struck out 26 batters in 25.2 innings and had a 1.44 ERA.
A good student active in community service, Andrew will play football
collegiately at Northwestern University.
His favorite athlete is Tim Tebow, favorite entertainer is Will
Ferrell, favorite book is Training Camp by John Gordon and favorite
movie is Forrest Gump.
