Sycamore senior Alex Taylor is on a quest for another Ohio state
championship in tennis. Alex played a big part in the Aves' first-ever
Ohio state boys' tennis title his sophomore year then followed that up
with a second straight Ohio team title last season as a junior.
Alex teamed with partner Nakul Narendran to win the 2015 GMC,
sectional, district and Ohio state championship in doubles. He also
went an undefeated 7-0 in singles.
Alex has won numerous honors, including last season being named 1st
team GMC, 1st team all-city and the Enquirer's Div. I Doubles Player
of the Year with partner Nakul.
A good student who is active in community service, Alex will continue
his tennis play next season collegiately at Williams College.
His favorite athlete is Roger Federer, favorite entertainer is Chris
Pratt, favorite book is all Eragon books, favorite movie is Avatar and
most-like-to-meet is David Beckham.
