Aiken senior Carlik Jones is one of Cincinnati's premier basketball
players, a 4-year varsity starter and a member of the 1,000+ point
club.
Carlik for the CMAC champs is averaging 22 points-9 rebounds this
season as the Falcons finished undefeated in regular season league
play. The talented guard has had numerous big double-digit scoring
games this season, including vs. Dayton Pointz (30 points), Covington
Catholic (29), Whitehall Yearling (29), Anderson (27), Taft (25),
Christ Presbyterian Academy (25) and Woodward (24).
Carlik's senior campaign is following up an impressive junior year
when he averaged 17 points-5 assists per game and was named CMAC
Player of the Year, 1st team all-conference, Cincinnati Div. IV Player
of the Year (Enquirer), 1st team all-city, first team all-SWO District
and honorable mention all-state.
Carlik will continue his basketball career at the collegiate level
next season at Radford University in Virginia. His favorite
entertainer is Kevin Hart, favorite book is the Goosebumps' series and
most-like-to-meet is Kyrie Irving.
