A senior quarterback, Nick Watson is again this season at the helm for the Lancers who finished this year's regular season 8-2 and ranked by coaches as the top Div. II in the region. In the regular season, Nick passed for 1,216 yards (11 TDs) and rushed for 535 yards (five TDs).

So far this season, including two Ohio Div. II playoff victories, Nick has thrown for 1,434 yds. (15 TDs) and has rushed for 588 yds. (6 TDs). In last week's win vs. Lima Senior 49-13, Nick passed for 203 yds. (4 TDs) plus added a rushing TD.

Nick is used to success - he was also the QB last season when he helped guide the Lancers (14-1) to their first-ever Div. II Ohio state championship, besting Nordonia 55-20. The Lancers' 55 points scored set an Ohio Div. II record in a state final game.

In total, Nick threw for 1,113 yards and 13 touchdowns plus rushed for 500 yards and nine touchdowns in 2014. He was named 2nd team GCL South and honorable mention all-city Div. II (Enquirer).

Nick, who also plays basketball, has not yet committed to a college. His favorite athlete is Russell Wilson and favorite book is Bud, Not Buddy.
