A four-year varsity starter in volleyball as an outside hitter,
Janelle last season recorded 299 kills, 41 aces and 19 blocks. She
helped lead the 30-10 Lady Crusaders to the 34th District championship
and the champs of the Kentucky state All-A tournament for the 3rd
straight year.
Janelle's play has been recognized with numerous honors. She was named
to the all-tournament teams of the regional and state All-A
championships. She was also district tournament MVP, NKY Div. II
Player of the Year and honorable mention all-state in Class A.
As a sophomore, Janelle was MVP of the Kentucky state All-A Tournament
and named to the district and regional all-tournament teams.
Janelle also competed in track & field her freshman and sophomore
years as a high jumper.
Very active in community service, she has committed to Bellarmine
University. Her favorite athlete is Bethany Hamilton, favorite
entertainer is Jennifer Lawrence, favorite book is If I Stay, favorite
movie is the Hunger Game series and most-like-to meet is the cast of
Grey's Anatomy.
