Newport Catholic senior Loren Zimmerman is a three-sport star in basketball, soccer and softball.

Loren is likely one of the few players to have played on three different sports' teams that all went to Kentucky All "A" Classic state tournaments, including last year's All "A" state champion soccer squad

A basketball guard, Loren has had double-digit scoring games this season vs. Holy Cross (16 points), Brossart (16) and Boone County (15). She has helped lead the 'Breds to two All "A" state runner-up finishes and last season's 9th Region title.

In soccer, Loren is the school's all-time record-holder in career assists with 29. Her numerous soccer honors include this year being named 1st team all-NKY (Enquirer) 1st team all 9th Region (coaches) and honorable mention all-state.

She is also a 1st team Div. II all-star 3rd baseman in softball who hit .395 last season with 20 RBIs.

Active in community service, Loren plans on playing soccer at the next level but has not yet committed to a college.
