A senior, Elijah is a defensive lineman for the Moeller Crusaders and
he has been part of back-to-back Ohio state Div. I football
championships (his sophomore and junior years.)
This year, during the regular season, Elijah helped the Crusaders to a
seven and three regular season record. He had 56 tackles, including 34
solo tackles, and 22 assisted tackles during the regular season. He
also had 7.5 sacks (2nd in the GCL South) and one forced fumble. This
followed up a junior year when he notched 68 tackles and 5.5 sacks and
was named 1st team GCL South and 1st team all-city by the Enquirer.
This season, Elijah was named 1st team all-conference for the second
time and was nominated for the 2015 U.S. Army All-American Bowl Jan. 3
in San Antonio. He was also named 1st team all-Southwest Ohio
District.
Elijah will continue his football play collegiately at the University
of Notre Dame. His favorite athlete is LeBron James and favorite
entertainer is Kevin Hart.
