Cooper's All-American, Sharli Brady, is one of the area's elite
swimmers, holding numerous school, regional and state swimming
records. Entering her senior season, Sharli had already won three
Kentucky state championships and five individual regional
championships.
Sharli is the two-time defending Kentucky state champion in the 200
IM. She was the state champ in the 500 freestyle as a sophomore, with
a state-record time of 4:47.56. She has earned many honors in her
career, including being named first team all-state twice and
Enquirer's NKY Swimmer of the Year. She also swims for the Northern
Kentucky Clippers and has competed on the USA junior and senior
national teams and was an Olympic Trials competitor.
Active in community service, Sharli is a National Honor Society
student and an Academic All-American. She has committed to swim at the
University of Missouri. Her favorite athlete is Michael Phelps and
favorite entertainer is Beyoncé.
