Conner senior quarterback Drew Barker became what is believed to be
just the third quarterback in Kentucky state history to rush for 40
TDs and pass for 40 TDs in a career. So far, he is having an
outstanding senior year too. After 7 games, he has passed for 1,650
yds. (22 TDs) and rushed for 516 yds. (6 TDs). Entering his senior
season, Drew had already put up incredible numbers - 3,392 passing
(29TDs) and 3,021 rushing (42TDs).
Drew has earned numerous honors, including being named honorable
mention all-state his junior year. He has also committed to play in
the 2014 U.S. Army All-American Bowl Janaury 4th in San Antonio,
Texas.
Although he will forego playing basketball this season, last season
Drew averaged 10 points per game and 9 rebounds per game for the
Cougars. An honor roll student active in community service, he has
committed to play football next season at the University of Kentucky.
His favorite athlete is AJ Green and favorite entertainer is Kevin
Hart.
