A 3-sport star, Max holds 6 school track records, including the 100
dash (11.49), and last season was regional champ in 3 events,
including the 200 dash and as a member of 2 relay teams. He was named
2nd team all-state. He also won this year's 200 dash at the Kentucky
Coaches' Area 5 championships.
In football, Max played multiple positions and helped lead the Tigers
to three Class A state semifinal appearances. This season he was named
Class A District 3 Player of the Year. He was also named to the
Enquirer's Northern Kentucky All-Star 1st team on offense, defense,
and special teams. Plus, he was named to the AP all-state 2nd team and
to the Best of the Bluegrass Kentucky all-star team. Max will play
football next season at Eastern Kentucky University.
Active in community service, Max also played 4 years of varsity
basketball for the Tigers. His favorite athlete is Brett Favre,
favorite book is Life of Pi and favorite movie is Remember the Titans.
