Entering her senior season, Emily had notched 1,007 strikeouts in her
career, plus 48 shutouts, 16 no-hitters and 10 perfect games. She
carries a 68-12 record into this season.
A school record-holder in numerous categories, Emily's 432 strikeouts
her freshman season is second most in Ohio history for a single
season. Last season, Emily had a 24-2 record for the Div. III
sectional and district champs. She had 320 strikeouts in 179 innings
with 18 shutouts, 5 no-hitters and a 0.43 ERA.
Emily's numerous honors, include three times being named SBAAC Player
of the year and 1st team all-city, and twice named 1st team all-state.
A National Honor Society student active in community service, Emily
will continue her softball career next season at the University of
Toledo.
Her favorite athlete is Brandon Phillips, favorite entertainer is
Justin Bieber, favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird, favorite movie
is Pitch Perfect and most-like-to-meet is Ellen Degeneres.
