A 4-year varsity track starter, Lamar is one of the fastest athletes
in the state and is the defending Div. II Ohio state champion in the
100 and 200 sprints. He also anchored the Trojans' 2012 state
runner-up 4x100 relay team.
Lamar has earned numerous honors for his athletic skills, including
being named 2012 Div. II Ohio Runner of the Year. He also was named
MVC Runner of the Year, Cincinnati Div. II Track Athlete of the Year,
1st team all-city and 1st team SWO district.
Holding numerous school records, Lamar has also competed in football
and wrestling for the Trojans, and has committed to Tiffin University
to run track.
An honor roll student, Lamar is very active in community service and
is a junior deacon in his church. His favorite athlete and
most-like-to-meet is Usain Bolt, favorite entertainer is Kevin Hart,
favorite books are Native Son and Black Boy by Richard Wright and
favorite movie is Transformers.
