A senior guard and 4-year starter with 1,000+ career points, Kevin
Johnson helped the Silver Knights to last season's 26-1 record and the
school's first-ever basketball Ohio state Div. III championship. He
was named MVP of the state tournament.
He's having a solid senior season, too, with numerous double-digit
scoring games, including vs. Purcell Marian (28 points), Cincinnati
Country Day (24), Reading (21) and Clark (21).
As a junior, Kevin averaged 15 points-6 rebounds and 4 assists per
game, and earned many honors, including being named MVC Player of the
Year, 1st team all-city (Enquirer), 1st team all-SWO district and
honorable mention all-state. He plays for the Ohio Basketball Club
during the summer.
A good student who is active in community service, he has committed to
play basketball next year at the University of Cincinnati.
His favorite athlete and most-like-to-meet is Derrick Rose, favorite
entertainer is Mike Epps, favorite book is Monster and favorite movie
is Bad Boys 2.
