ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Mercy senior Kelley Wiegman has started every game in her impressive
4-year varsity basketball career. She is having another strong season
with double-digit scoring in games against Princeton (20 points),
Colerain (19), San Francisco Mercy (19) and Anderson (19).
Her junior year, Kelley averaged 17 points per game for the Bobcats
and was named 1st team all-GGCL Scarlet for the 3rd time. She was also
named GGCL Player of the Year, 1st team all-city (Enquirer) and 1st
team all-SWO district. Her club team is the Angels, and she has
committed to play basketball next season at Northern Kentucky
University.
Active in community service and a member of National Honor Society and
Spanish Honor Society, Kelley has earned first honors every quarter at
Mercy, and she is a committee member of Student Council. She also
played 3 years of soccer for the Bobcats.
Her favorite athlete and most-like-to-meet is Drew Brees, favorite
entertainer is Tosh.O, and her favorite book is Walk Two Moons.
