ACCOMPLISHMENTS: A senior striker/forward for the Pandas, team captain Ellie Eckerle is a 3-year starter who helped lead the Pandas (25-3-1) to a 2012 district and regional championship and a Kentucky state runner-up finish. The 25 wins was a school record and the third most single season wins in Kentucky girls' soccer history.

Ellie scored 18 goals this season, and was named to the district all-tournament team and she was named 1st team all 9th Region and 1st team all-state (Kentucky East Region). She also played in the Kentucky East-West All-Star game. Ellie's 16 goals-6 assists her junior year helped the Pandas claim the Kentucky state championship.

An academic all-state student and Student Council member, Ellie is active in community service and will join the Xavier University soccer team next season. Her favorite athlete is Alex Morgan (USA Olympic team), favorite entertainer is Rihanna, favorite book is Left to Tell, favorite movie is Titanic and most-like-to-meet is Jane Goodall.
