ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
A 4-year varsity starter, soccer star John Michael Wyrick came
out of the gates firing, scoring 4 goals in his first-ever varsity
game as a freshman, and he hasn't stopped since. Entering his senior
season, he had already notched 88 goals and 24 assists, and is the
school's all-time leading goal scorer. Last season he accounted 83
points (2nd in CHL) with 36 goals-11 assists, helping the Mustangs
(20-2-1) to a CHL co-championship, sectional and regional titles and a
state semi-finalist finish. He was named 1st team all-CHL, 1st team
all-city Div. III (Enquirer), 1st team SWO district and 2nd team
all-Ohio Div. III. John Michael was also 2nd team all-CHL in
basketball, averaging 8.3 points per game and 4.5 assists per game.
Active in community service, his favorite athlete is Adrian Peterson,
favorite entertainer is 2 Chainz, most-like-to-meet is Rajon Rondo,
favorite book is The Fault in Our Stars and favorite movie is
Gladiator.
