ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
A 4-year starter for the Thunderhawks, senior Zach Mueck is a 1st team
all-Ohio tennis star. In singles both his sophomore and junior years, Zach
was conference champion, district champ, regional champ and Ohio state Div.
I runner-up. His sophomore year he became only the 2nd Lakota East tennis
competitor in school history to qualify for state and he was a big part of
the 2010 team that went undefeated in regular season play, winning the GMC
championship. Zach was named GMC Tennis Player of the Year as a sophomore
(29-1 regular season) and junior (30-0 regular season). He has been named
1st team all-city three straight years. He has been awarded with several
national titles. Zach is a good student who is active in community service,
and will continue his tennis career next season at Xavier University. His
favorite athlete is Jerome Bettis, favorite entertainer is Denzel
Washington, favorite author is James Patterson, favorite movie is Rudy and
most-like-to-meet is Taylor Swift.
