ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
A 2-sport all-star, senior Dwayne Stanford (10 ppg.-8 rpg.) in
basketball helped Taft this season finish undefeated (12-0) in the CMAC for
the second consecutive season. His junior year, Dwayne helped the 26-1
Senators take the school's first-ever Ohio state basketball title and was
named 1st team all-city. Also a gifted football receiver, Dwayne was one of
the most recruited offensive players in the state and finished his senior
season with 32 catches for 905 yards and 11 TDs and was named 1st team
all-conference, all-city, all-SWO district and all-Ohio. He was also
selected to play in the nationally televised U.S. Army All-American Bowl
this past January in San Antonio. An honor roll student who is active in
community service, Dwayne will play football next season at the University
of Oregon. His favorite athlete is LeBron James, favorite entertainer is
Will Smith, favorite book is Tears of a Tiger and most-like-to-meet is Kobe
Bryant.
