ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Beechwood senior Justin Youtsey is a 2-time All-American diver and the
reigning Kentucky state diving champion, receiving the title his sophomore
and junior years. He was the only male diver in Kentucky named All-American
last year. Justin is also a 3-time regional champion, and last season was
named 1st team all-Northern Kentucky and 1st team all-state. Setting school
records along the way, Justin has been selected to compete this summer in
the USA Olympic Trials. "Justin's excellent work ethic and drive to
constantly improve and challenge himself has positioned him as one of the
top high school divers in the nation," says coach Allyson Heger. Justin
also competed in baseball and swimming for the Tigers. A National Honor
Society student active in community service, Justin will dive next year at
Auburn University. His favorite athlete is John Wall, favorite entertainer
is Wiz Khalifa, favorite book is The Kite Runner, and most-like-to-meet is
Kenny Chesney.
