ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
A senior 3-time high school All-American swimmer, Molly Hazelbaker is
the reigning district champion in the 200 freestyle (1:50.85) and 500
freestyle (4:52.08) events. She helped lead the Spartans last season to the
FAVC championship in the 200 freestyle and 200 medley relays, setting meet
record times in both events; she also took 3rd in the 200 freestyle
(1:51.73) at the Ohio state championships and was named 1st team all-city
(Enquirer). A 4-year varsity swimmer, Molly in her great career has set
eight conference and school records individually or as part of relay teams.
She holds an individual Ohio state championship in the 500 freestyle
(4:52.98), which she won in 2010 when she was named by the Enquirer as
Cincinnati Div. I Swimmer of the Year. She is also the 2011 YMCA
Championship runner-up in the 1650 freestyle. An honor student active in
community service, Molly will swim next year at Ohio State University.
