ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
A talented basketball guard for the Lancers, senior Josh Lemons has
started strong this season, scoring 23 points vs. Walnut Hills, 18 vs.
Woodward and 16 vs. Fenwick. He helped lead the team (26-2) to last year's
Ohio state Div. I championship, its first basketball state title in 15
years. Josh averaged 13.2 points-3.2 rebounds-3.1 steals per game, with big
performances against Elder (25 points), Lakota West (22), University School
(20), and Fairfield (18). For his efforts, Josh last season was named GCL
South Player of the Year, GCL South Defensive Player of the Year, 1st team
all-city (Enquirer), 1st team SWO District and 2nd team all-Ohio. Active in
community service, Josh competes for the All Ohio Purple team during the
summer. His favorite athlete is Derrick Rose, favorite entertainer is Kevin
Hart, favorite book is Tears of a Tiger, favorite movie is Love and
Basketball and most-like-to-meet is Martin Luther King, Jr.
