ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
A 3-year volleyball varsity starter, senior Emily Fraik helped the
Cowboys to a best-ever 26-1 record, the CHL championship, the sectional and
district championships and the #1 ranking in Ohio Div. II. During the
season, Emily had 185 kills, 21 assists, 55 blocks, 152 digs and 60 aces.
Twice Emily has been named 1st team all-CHL, all-city and all-district. Her
junior year she was also named honorable mention all-state and Tri County
Press Sportswoman of the Year. Emily lived in China, moved to the Ukraine in
third grade, and moved to the U.S. (Wyoming) for her seventh-grade year. A
top student (National Honor Society) who dedicates many hours to community
service, Emily is also on the Wyoming basketball team. Her favorite athlete
is Kerri Walsh, favorite entertainer is Norah Jones, favorite book is Animal
Dreams, favorite movie is The Notebook and most-like-to-meet is Harriet
Tubman. Emily will continue her volleyball career next season at the
University of Maryland.
