ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Star QB led Highlands to an unbeaten Ky. 5A state championship his
sophomore year then followed that up last season by leading the
Bluebirds (14-1) to a 4th straight state title. He rushed for 167
yards and a state final-game record 5 TDs and was named the
game’s MVP. Patrick threw for 2,471 yards (21 TDs) last season,
adding 880 rushing yards (18 TDs). His career numbers are 3,609 yds.
(31 TDs) passing, 1,129 yds. (24 TDs) rushing. Patrick was named NKY
Offensive Player of the Year, District Player of the Year and
honorable mention all-state. He has been selected to compete in the
2012 U.S. Army All-American Bowl in January. Also a talented
basketball competitor, he was selected to compete in the NKY East-West
Junior All-Star Game. A National Honor Society student, Patrick is the
grandson of Hall of Fame pitcher and former U.S. senator Jim Bunning.
Patrick will continue his football career next season at the
University of Kentucky
