ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Luke Maile is a
two-sport (baseball-basketball) all-star. In baseball, Luke, a catcher, hit
.556 last season with 7 home runs and was named NKY Player of the Year for
the 2nd time. He also has been named all-state twice. Luke holds a dozen
baseball records for the Colonels (including 66 RBIs in a season) and plays
in the summer for the Kentucky Colonels. Also selected as a 1st team
all-Northern Kentucky basketball player, Luke averaged 17 ppg. this season
and 11 ppg. as a junior. He is a member of the 1,000+ point club and was
named to this year's district all-tournament team. Active in community
service, Luke also played a year of golf for the Colonels. He will continue
his baseball prowess next season at the University of Kentucky. Luke's
favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant, favorite entertainer is George Carlin,
favorite move is The Shawshank Redemption and most-like-to-meet is Tiger
Woods.

junior. Luke currently holds 12 school hitting records. He is also a
tremendous defensive catcher, throwing out 70% of base runners on
