MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
This senior is an outstanding student-athlete for the 32nd district
champions, a McDonalds' basketball All-American nominee who this season
became the all-time scorer in Simon Kenton school history with 2,000+ career
points. Playing varsity since the 8th grade, Chelsea (a guard) averaged 17
points a game last season for the district and regional (1st ever) champs.
She has won numerous honors, including being named district tournament MVP
twice and 1st team all-region three times. She continues putting up numbers
this season, with 30 points vs. Lexington Catholic, 29 points vs. Highlands,
28 vs. Scott and 26 vs. Conner. Very active in community service and an
academic superstar with a 4.0 GPA, Chelsea has not yet selected a college,
but will play at the next level. Her favorite athlete is Michael Jordan,
favorite entertainer is Dane Cook, favorite movie is Coach Carter and
most-like-to-meet is Channing Tatum.
