MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This senior
quarterback has had some memorable games, once tying a state record
by throwing 9 TD passes in the first half of a game vs. Spenser
County. As a junior, for the district champs, he threw for 2,335
yards and 30 TDs (both school records) and ran for 651 yards and
5 TDs. He was named as a Northern Kentucky All-Star and All-District.
Entering this season, J.J. had thrown for nearly 4,500 yards (55 TDs). He
added 129 yards passing (1 TD) and 67 yards rushing (1 TD) in a win vs.
Frankfort Western Hills. He also plays point guard on the basketball team (6
point average) for the Wildcats, and is a 2-time all district shortstop on the
baseball team (.300+ batting average over past 2 years). A National Honor
Society student, J.J.'s favorite entertainer is Dave Chappelle, his favorite
athlete is Barry Larkin and his most-like-to-meet is Peyton Manning.
