Nominated for the 2nd straight year for LaRosa's MVP of the Year award, Kirsten in her 5-year career was one of the most dominating fast-pitch pitchers in Kentucky history, and this year was named Ms. Kentucky Softball. Shattering every major Kentucky high school career pitching record, she holds 10 state records. In her career, Kirsten pitched an incredible 110 shutouts, 41 no-hitters, 15 perfect games, 142 wins and notched 1,865 career strikeouts, all Kentucky records She led the Raiders to the state championship in 2006 and state runner-up in 2007. Kirsten has won dozens of honors, including the local Women's Sports Association's Fast-Pitch Player of the Year (three consecutive years), plus Kentucky Gatorade Player of the Year twice, and Kentucky Class AAA Player of the Year twice, just to name a few. She was also 1st team Academic All-State and for 3 years was an all-star volleyball player. Kirsten will play fast-pitch next season at the University of Oklahoma.

Kyle is a 2-sport superstar in basketball and football for the Elder Panthers and was also a LaRosa's MVP of the Year nominee as a junior. In basketball, Kyle was a 3-time GCL Player of the Year, only the 2nd player in GCL history to be so honored. Kyle averaged 15 points-9 rebounds a game this past season in being named as a McDonalds All-American nominee, 1st team all-city, 1st team all-SWO district and 3rd team all-Ohio. He is also the school's all-time career rebounder and 2nd all-time leading scorer. As a USA Today, Gatorade and U.S. Army All-American football tight end, Kyle had 623 receiving yards, scoring 11 TDs, and also averaged 37+ yards as the team's punter. His honors were numerous, including winning the Maxwell Award as the top high school player at his position in the nation. He also was named 1st team all-league, 1st team all-city, 1st team all-SWO district and 2nd team all-Ohio. Kyle will play football next season at the University of Notre Dame.
