Senior Haylee Smith has played varsity softball for seven years as a pitcher, catcher, third baseman, shortstop and first baseman. Entering this season, Haylee's career pitching record is 96-24-1 with 583 strikeouts, 36 shutouts, 10 no-hitters and a perfect game.

Last season, as a pitcher for the district champs, Haylee went 16-2 with an 0.92 ERA, 99 strikeouts and seven shutouts. Her 16 wins in a row tied a school record. She also hit .462 with 42 RBI and was named to the Kentucky East-West Junior All-Star Game.

Among her numerous awards, twice Haylee has been named as the Enquirer's NKY Player of the Year and was the 2013 9th Region Player of the Year.

Also an outstanding basketball player and NKY all-star, Haylee has had big games this year vs. Mercy (25 points), Cooper (20) and Beechwood (19).

A good student who is active in community service, Haylee will play softball collegiately at Southern Indiana University. Her favorite athlete is Luke Bryan and most-like-to-meet is Pat Summitt.
