- MVP Accomplishments: This senior two-sport (tennis and basketball) star owns a Division I
Ohio state championship title -- last year, Doug, along with partner Matt Allare, won the Ohio
state high school doubles championship after finishing as sectional champs and district
runnersup. A 4-year starter, Doug earned honors as 1st team all-city and 1st team all-state.
He was named team MVP and FAVC conference Player of the Year, and three times has been named
1st team all-conference and all-district. He was also a tennis state qualifier as a sophomore.
He will play tennis next season at Xavier University. Also a good basketball player, Doug has
been a 2-year varsity starter at forward. This season he averaged 13 points-5 rebounds-2
steals per game and was named team co-MVP, 1st team all-conference and honorable mention
all-city and all-Southwest Ohio district. Active in community service, Doug’s favorite
athlete is Reggie Miller, his favorite entertainer is David Chappelle and his
most-like-to-meet is Andy Roddick.
