- MVP Accomplishments: This senior catcher has started 5 seasons for the Colonels, hitting
.423 as a junior for the 9th region champs and .541 as a sophomore, becoming the only player
in school history to hit over .500 in a season. Last season, only 4 runners stole a base on
her, and she threw out 19 runners. She is also the first player in school history named 1st
team all-state, and was also named 1st team all-Northern Kentucky for the third time. She also
played in the Kentucky Jr. All-Star game. Earlier this year she was selected to tour Australia
with a U.S. all-star team. Also a 6-year swimmer for the Colonels, Sarah is a good student and
is active in community service. Her favorite athlete is Lisa Fernandez, her favorite
entertainer is Kevin Costner, and his most-like-to-meet are her mom’s parents, who are
deceased. She will play next year at Georgetown College.
