- MVP Accomplishments: Mason�s senior big man Zach Marshall (44-1) won the Ohio Div. I 275
lb. wrestling championship, becoming the first wrestling state champ in Mason High school
history. He also won the championship at the Southwest Ohio Wrestling Coaches Classic. Zach
last season went 33-3 with 23 pins (single season school record). Last year, he was named 1st
team all-conference and 2nd team all-Southwest Ohio. He also is an honored football performer
as an offensive lineman, helping the Comets (8-3) to the playoffs for the 2nd
consecutive year. He was named 1st team all-league, all-city, all-Southwest Ohio and 2nd team
all-state. He has been selected to play in the prestigious Ohio-Pennsylvania Big 33 football
game, and will continue on the gridiron next season at the University of Maryland. Active in
community service, Zach�s favorite entertainer and his
most-like-to-meet is Garth Brooks, and his favorite athlete is Orlando Pace.
