with nearly 30 points a game, Jackson has started varsity for 5 years in both basketball and
baseball. In basketball, he averaged a double-double (23 points-10 rebounds) last season, and
has had monster games this season, including 41 vs. Deming, 35 vs. Dayton, 33 vs. Augusta and
32 vs. Beechwood. This year he will become the leading scorer in school history. He has earned
many honors, including all-conference and all-region three times and named to the district
all-tournament team twice. He also has been nominated for the Wendy’s All-American team,
and his AAU club finished runner-up in the state of Kentucky. Also a baseball standout,
Jackson, a shortstop, hit .350 last season and he has been named all-conference three times.
He is also a top academic student. His favorite entertainer is Kevin James, his favorite
athlete is Mugsy Bogues, and his most-like-to-meet is Michael Jordan.
