- MVP Accomplishments: One of Cincinnati’s best small school athletes, Sonny stars in
two sports – basketball and football. Transferring to CCD for his senior season after
Landmark Christian closed last year, Sonny, a basketball guard, averaged 21 points last year
on the way to being named 1 st team all-conference, 1 st team all-city, and 3 rd team
all-Southwest Ohio. This year, he has scored 24 vs. St. Edwards ( Florida) and Deer Park, and
20 vs. CHCA. In football this season, he was the only receiver in Ohio to have 1,000+
receiving yards (1,040). He also scored 14 TDs and as a defensive back notched 4
interceptions. He was named 1 st team all-conference, 1 st team all-Southwest Ohio, and
honorable mention all-state. He plans to play basketball at the next level but has not chosen
a college. His favorite entertainer is Jim Carrey, and his favorite athlete and
most-like-to-meet is Michael Jordan.
